A same surge of generosity brought numerous Ladoners to the ‘Trust your heart’ evening that was held in the village hall in Ladon, a small village a hundred kilometres south of Paris as a fund-raising charity  organised by  voluntary members of the IPF association.
Nearly 300 people attended the free concert given by the local school children under the supervision of their teachers and by the chorus members, musicians and singers of the two local associations. Everyone enjoyed the songs and pieces of music on the programme.
That evening, the tombola, the programmes and the drinks sold at the bar brought in more than 1.500€ to IPF, a sum that added nicely to the 5.000€ cheque that was handed over to Jacques Monnet, the President of IPF, by the local ‘Association de l’Espoir’ (the Association for Hope), a usual user of the same village hall for their bingos, in the presence of the mayor and the village councillors.
Francine Delaveau, who had planned and organised the evening with the help of a few voluntary workers, was very moved indeed when she thanked everyone for their support, gifts and help.
A lot of thanks to you, Francine, from IPF and your little IP affected granddaughter Laura.
